This privacy policy explains how MemberNexa handles information through its public website and membership platform. Organizations using MemberNexa may maintain their own privacy notices for information they control.
Information we process
Depending on the services used, information may include account details, contact information, organization membership information, business-directory submissions, benefit activity and technical service data.
How information is used
- Provide authentication and account access.
- Operate membership, community and business-directory services.
- Support administrators and respond to service requests.
- Maintain platform security, reliability and legal compliance.
Business activity counts
Business profiles record aggregate views and link interactions to help owners understand activity. A random identifier in browser session storage limits repeat counting; daily hashed identifiers and network rate-limit records expire after two days and are removed through automated cleanup. Raw IP addresses and visitor identifiers are not included in owner reports. Supported Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control browser signals disable this optional activity recording. Saved business enquiries are counted separately as service requests. Totals are estimates and do not identify visitors or confirm sales.
Business enquiries
When you consent to sending a business enquiry, MemberNexa stores your name, email address and enquiry details for follow-up. These details are shared with the selected business’s currently approved owner through a private inbox and an email copy, when an approved owner is available. If no approved owner is available, the MemberNexa team handles the enquiry. Owners can respond directly by email; those email conversations are not stored in the MemberNexa enquiry inbox.
Organization responsibilities
Each customer organization controls its own member and community records and is responsible for providing appropriate notices, obtaining required consent and managing authorized access.
Data protection
MemberNexa uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and requests
Information is retained as required to provide the service and meet legal obligations. Access, correction or deletion requests should first be directed to the organization through which the account was created.
